I unfortunate have no children, but seven nephews & four nieces and I think this is a brillant campaign as it is important for children to learn to read at a early age even if it’s comics or books.

What a great campaign – I am a grandmother to nine – My parents always read to me, as I did to my daughters, who in turn have read to their children. The pleasure of reading a book is so important , and in this hi-tech age, and should be nurtured.

Fantastic idea – my daughter’s treat on a Saturday is to go to Easons and browse through the books before making her purchase. I have tried pledging using the electronic facility but it does not seem to be registering.

What a great idea, often books are forgotten at this time of year, but last long after the toys are broken. What a skill to know how to read. Happy Christmas to all (with an Easons Book!)

Superb idea, schools need the resource and children can only benefit from having a wide variety
of books to choose from. Hope all children in Ireland will benefit in some way from this
    great initiative.

Hi great idea there is a need to get children back into reading too many games out there imagination needs to be used both myself and husband read stories to our children at bedtime and they too now can tell their own stories literally. My husband is the best really he can really story tell stories that children would love smelly ones actually. They love him because he makes them up.
